Underbarrow Lodge Park

Underbarrow Lodge Park is a truly unique holiday development, with less than 15 lodges on-site. It is nestled in the grounds of a 17th Century Lakeland Inn and approached through a gated entrance.

The park has a very private and exclusive feel to it, surrounded only by natural streams, beautiful countryside and the peaceful Cumbrian village of Underbarrow.

Underbarrow Lodge Park is open from 1st March to 15th January, making it a wonderful Christmas retreat. Due to the size and the unique offerings of Underbarrow Holiday Park, availability is restricted. However, we are currently developing new plots which will be available this Spring. We only have two remaining, so please contact us for more information, or to arrange a visit.

The park is situated in the quiet area of Underbarrow, which is just a 5 minue drive from the charming market town of Kendal. Windermere and Bowness are also just a short drive away, making Underbarrow Lodge Park the perfect place for a relaxing holiday home in the Lake District.

  • Due to the countryside location of the park, there are plenty of fantastic walks and bike rides available from your lodge doorstep.
  • Historic Kendal town is only 5 mintues away, with shops, museums, restaurants, bars and even a Leisure Centre.
  • Windermere & Bowness are popular with tourists, offering an array of restaurants and bars, as well as other attractions such as the Beatrix Potter Museum and Windermere Lake Cruises.
  • Underbarrow has the advantage of having a traditional country pub serving homecooked food and traditional ales. A warm welcome awaits!

The park is located close to junction 36 of the M6 (just 15 minutes drive). At junction 36, exit onto the A590 and continue on A591. We're just on the right after Jinny Hill.
